ABOUT

Bridging Traditional Craftsmanship with the Future of Fashion Tech

Maggie Mattioni spent three decades at the heart of the fashion industry — designing menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, and licensed product for some of the world's most recognised names: Disney, M&S, Debenhams, Umbro, Sanrio, and David Gandy, among others. She knows exactly how a collection is built, where the friction lives, and what it costs — in time, money, and environmental impact.

In 2019, Maggie made a deliberate pivot. Frustrated by the industry's blind spot — the staggering volume of physical samples that never make it to retail — she retrained herself in 3D design and AI tools. She didn't do it as a side experiment. She went all in — introducing CLO3D and training designers at The Walt Disney Company, designing full collections in 3D for David Gandy Wellwear and Neem London, and at ASOS creating the circular collection to reduce physical sampling and supporting the introduction of AI into their design process.

Today, Maggie is a leading freelance consultant helping fashion brands and retailers make that same shift. She audits design processes, implements 3D and AI tools, trains creative teams, and develops digital strategies that reduce waste and improve speed to market.

She is also a respected voice in the wider conversation about fashion's future — speaking at Texworld Paris, Ladies Who Tech, and the International Symposium on AI in Fashion at London College of Fashion. She lectures at UAL London College of Fashion and leads the UAL Short Course in Fashion AI.

Maggie is based in the UK and works with clients globally. She is available for consulting projects, speaking engagements, and educational partnerships.
